My dad told me that, years and years ago, people used to play solitaire with the same decks of cards they use for gambling in Vegas. They would move the cards around themselves, by hand.
...but I'm not sure if I believe him. :-)

I own a small handheld solitaire game made by a company called Radica. Unlike with the old fasioned decks of cards, I've yet to lose a single card or accidently spill the entire deck under my seat.
I like it a lot and its great for killing time on the plane.
I see them for sale all over, almost any toy store or travel store has them.

I played solitaire with a real pack of cards and so did my Grandfather and everyone else, once upon a time. You lose that extra feeling using a computer.
