The AirBus 330
I'm flying to Kona from Vancouver bc with my daughter in Feb 2001. I live in Seattle but am saving about $300(us) a ticket driving to the bc airport. It's booked with Canada3000. They are a charter type airline. They told me that for an extra fee ($40 canadian)I can avoid the cattle call and reserve seats. The craft is an airbus 330 with a 2-4-2 configuartion. I flew the route with them two year ago with my daughter in the same craft and felt quite cramped. My question is: On this craft, where would we feel most comfortable. As I write this I think I might opt for a two seat next to a four seat isle seat in the same row. Any advise would be most appreciated. By the way the rt fare is $480(us).

You are flying a charter on a cheap fare. Any seat is going to be cramped. If you want to be comfortable take the Hawaiian air flight from Seattle and pay the upgrade fee to 1st class at the airport when you check in. It is well worth it. On the otherhand enjoy your drive to BC and the funds you saved.

I'd go for an exit row, side section (window/aisle). Check out the A330-200seating chart.
