Abbreviations
I have noticed on the FlyerTalk bulletin boards frequent use of abbreviations for airlines, airports, frequent flyer programs, airport lounge programs and so on. Is there a source defining all these definitions since I have yet to deduce the meaing of some of them? If so, where?
Thank you.
Thank you.

A good place to start would be in airline system schedules. I.e. United's World Time-table has has airports listed alphabetically with 3 letter airport code and vice versa. It also has a simple explanation of services available. I'm sure other airlines provide similar information in their "system schedules. Newspaper travel sections some-times list airline abreviations, that a lot of times defy logic. This site is also an excellent source.

Airport/city codes:
http://www.airportcitycodes.com
Airline codes (alphabetically by airline):

Airline codes (alphabetically by code):

There are also many other sites with the same information.
For odd abbreviations I don't recognize, I usually do a Google search on them, perhaps with a few words of context like "airport" or "travel" to narrow it down by eliminating the same abbreviation as used in technology, medicine and everywhere else.
