How Reliable is ITN?

I have a ticket booked for travel to Manchester, England. I have noticed that on the outbound PHL-MAN, the flight has been "sold out" in coach 3 times!!! Only F, J, D and I are available.

Each morning after I would log on and see that coach class is wide open, with exception of V fare basis which just zeroed out recently.

My first assumption is that many people made reservations and at midnight, they cancelled out. Has anyone had a similar experience or know how to tell how many seats there really are?
