The check-in counter at McCarren, while a smart concept, does nothing to make up for everything else wrong with that property which has been described in this thread.

I went to Caesars last night, and to my surprise there were alot of people in the Casino. I guess they are making money, also when I passed the the lobby, the line there was so long that it was scary!

I was there last night also. I really don't want to go into specifics here, but I am a Starwood Platinum and yesI know that they do NOT honor any Starwood benefits and thus was not expecting much, but I will never stay there again.

BTW, I did have a room in the new Tower.
