Transfer time between DFW and Love Field?

For you Dallas residents and travelers...I need to make a departing reservation at Love Field after arriving at DFW. Does anyone have a good recommendation for minimum transfer time between arrival in DFW and my departure at Love (considering travel time, traffic, rental car pickup, baggage, etc.)

It's a Saturday afternoon (no major rush hour) plus I am renting a car and leaving at Love.

Any info would be appreciated.

I'd estimate 25 minutes of driving time. The rental agency drops are near the terminal and most have frequent shuttles.

Saturday afternoon is the best possible time to attempt this, although the traffic really isn't ever that bad. (yeah, right)

This is my first post, after reading the board for months. Great site.

Do you need to wait for bags? If so, I personally would allow 2.5 - 3.00 hours.

Be sure to rent from an 'on airport' rental car company.

BTW SuperShuttle makes the trip about every 30 minutes. Fare is about $19.00 for the 1st psgr and $7.00 for any additional psgr. Travel time with them is about an hour... with the airport stops, etc. Details at 800-258-3826 or www.supershuttle.com
