Galveston, TX - Recommendations

I'm heading to Galveston in a week. Any recommendations of things to do, places to eat...?

I'm probably taking up bandwidth unnecessarily here, but I don't want you to think you're being ignored. Perhaps someone more cognizant of Galveston than I can help you out more here.

I spent a week there last year, but it was kinda an intensive assignment and I didn't see much beyond the city offices. There ARE several nice, funky places to eat lunch or dinner downtown near the waterfront. One of them had pretty decent barbeque, and the other was a sports-bar-type place with super coleslaw and sandwiches/burgers/BBQ at great prices.

Naturally, I can't for the life of me remember their names. Sorry. I hope someone else can be of some real help to you.
