Questions for Priority Pass holders

I just joined Priority Pass and I was wondering out of the US carriers that participate who has the best lounges.

It seems that the US participating carriers are DL, NW, TW, US, and HP. Which company do you prefer overall.

I would like specific lounge info on the following US cities:

SFO
JFK
LAX
MIA

I never know where I am going until I buy the tickets when I travel internationally. I do have a trip to AMS planned for memorial week-end and I seem to transit through ICN (SEL) a lot.

Bringing this up to the top in hopes of a response or two. I'll make it easy. Out of the airlines that participate in PP, which are the best overall.

If I do not receive any responses this time I will have to resort to entering the individual airline forums.

DL, HP, & NW offer complimentary bar service, while TW & US have a cash bar. That narrows it down a bit for me...

I really like Northwest's new WorldClubs design. Very nice, refined setting. And a self-service bar (which I prefer). Of course, in the cities you speak of:

SFO- The old WorldClub is not anything special. Additionally, it was in a poor location outside of security. I believe they have opened up a new WorldClub near their gates.

JFK- Never been there. Can't imagine there is too much activity, as NW has very limited service here. Probably quite busy before the flight to NRT.

LAX- This club is too small and not very nice. The staff tends to be good here. This place is packed at peak times (especially late morning, before the flights to KIX and NRT depart). Rather drab furnishings.

MIA- No WorldClub here.

As for America West Clubs, they only have clubs in CMH, LAS, and PHX (3). The CMH lounge is the old TWA Ambassadors Club and the LAS location is the old Delta Crowne Room (this lounge desperately needs new carpet/furnishings). PHX has one new lounge on the far A concourse (quite nice but too small), an older lounge on the A concourse, and an older lounge on the B concourse. I've never been to CMH before.

When you're in Vegas this weekend, drop by the America West Club. It is located just outside security, on the mezzanine overlooking the ticket counters. The bartender here is a contract worker from Host Marriott Services, while in PHX real America West agents work as bartenders.

LAX desperately needs an America West Club. They have many departures from this key business market, but no lounge. Terminal One (home to HP, WN, and US) does have a USAirways Club, though. It wouldn't hurt to add lounges to SFO and SAN, also.

Thanks TransWorldOne for all the excellent advice. Free drinks is good. I'll just have to try out the different lounges when I get my card. It hasn't arrived yet so I will not be able to use it tomorrow.

I am looking forward to meeting you and the other FTers this week-end in Vegas.
