Problems with ITN?

I can not select my preferred airlines any more I get all the airlines all the time!
It started about 2 weeks ago a real pain - if you have the same problems, please e-mail them too so they realise the problem and fix it asap!

Thanks!

No, Oliver, you are not alone! The ITN site has been ignoring my airline selections also. Do you know of a responsive email address for the webmaster? I sent the comment to "getthere.com" but it looks like a long time before it will get read.

I used the feedback e-mail about a week ago but no comment!
Therefore I thought if we could get a little FT-POWER with everybody e-mailing them telling them their sytem is broken they might fix it asap to stop the mails!

I have also experienced this problem and anonymously emailed them to report it.

Note that ITN has stopped showing BA flights, even for routes where BA may be the sole non-stop operator.

Maybe they're tired of BA pirating their url?

I've had the exact same problem with ITN and used the feedback option to send a complaint in.

I got an email back from someone giving me instructions on how to use the website!

I wrote back explaining the problem and then got another email back telling me to set up my personal profile!

This person does not seem to have a clue, but she did give me a phone number to call and I will be callnig them today.

I called into GetThere.com technical support today (800-253-9822) and explained the problem.

The person again tried to tell me that I didn't know how to use the website (ie. the displayed selections will be limited to the preferred airlines only if I select 3 airlines -- which is bogus)... I said that is not how the site used to work and he said he would send the problem off to their site administrator who is out of the office until Monday.

He said I was the first person to tell him of this problem and again insinuated that I didn't know how to use the site.

I STRONGLY urge anyone else using ITN to call in to the number above and report this as a problem.

I just called and was told I am the second person to bring this to their attention. The user support person says they were able to duplicate the problem, but the person who needs to look into this is gone until Monday.

I also mentioned that BA flights are missing.

Thanks Rich. I have been very amazed at the level of "service" from the GetThere.com Help Desk reps.

When I asked the person I spoke with if they had the same thing happen, I was told "I don't use the website unless it's absolutely necessary. I just help people log in."

I have only called two times (1 time on another issue) and both times I found them to be very helpful. Since I cannot believe anyone uses the site to buy tickets, I think it is not in our best interest to demand a level of support that getthere.com has no financial interest in providing.

Basically, I fear another easysabre.com type cancellation.

On a good note, it appears that the BA flights that have been missing are back.

DL flights did not show, too - and it did not take the preferred airlines into account. My way around this: multi-cities with the exact route punched in there. Then all those flights show up... (of course some of other airlines too)
