SFO rate increase

Rates for my normal route to SFO have more than doubled. I fly US from MHT to SFO and the cheapest restricted rate I can find is now $790, which I used to get as low as $300 before. I'd been getting unrestricted RTs for $650 and they are now well over a thousand bucks. A quick check of other airlines flying from MHT to SFO also shows the $790 rate. MHT to SJC on these other carriers is a much lower rate.

Is this is localized problem, a yearly seasonal increase, or maybe triggered by increasing SFO weather delays?

Bummer.

Southwest stopped service at SFO on March 4th. Hence fares went up March 5th. Try looking into SJC or OAK.
