Airline seat space compared

The info on airline seat space (pitch and width) has been expanded and updated at http://travel.simplyquick.com/airlines.html.
It now specifies space by aircraft type (and travel class) for USA airlines (less detail for non-USA).
However, we have had to rely on the airlines themselves for data and they are not always accurate or up to date on their own seat space!

That link give me a error, and directs me to www.simplyquick.com. If the page is fixed, I'd love to see the information...

After playing around the "SimplyQuick" site for a bit, I found the following pages. The first has a chart where airlines are rated according to quality, safety, seat space, on-time performance, baggage handling and web site rating. The second page is a comparison of Business Class seating.

Garbage in garbage out. Remember the info is only as good as the info they got. While quite good, the chart is incomplete and should not be seen as totally reliable. For example Air Canada business class is listed as 39-45". That may be true domestically but international seat pitch is 58-65". Same for econo which is 34" international on some planes.

AC business class:
A319, A320: 38"
B737-200: 39"
F28: 41"
A340: 60"
International 767-200: 55"
Domestic 767-200: 45"
B767-300ER: 55-60"
B747-400: 55-65"
DC-9: 38"

AC econo class:
All are 32" with the exception of 34" for the 747s and A340/A330s.

As it happens, we've just updated the info on the non-USA airlines, including Air Canada - though our info does not quite correspond with yours; cf. e.g. http://travel.simplyquick.com/discou...s-seating.html
Possibly the integration of Canadian Airlines with Air Canada is producing some complications in tying down fleet specification.

I suppose if we armed ourselves with precise instructions and tape measures on every flight we took, and reported back to flyertalk, a detailed and up-to-date picture might emerge. In the meantime, if you know of good, NON-COPYRIGHT, sources of info which simplyquick appears to be mising out on, let me know.
