Junk Fees
I was checking the PFC page at the WN website and noticed they indicate the $3.00 fee increases to $4.50 as of 04/01/01 at SJC, SLC and IND. I'm sure the other airports will not be far behind in increasing their charges to the new level ($18.00 maximum per R/T).
Does anyone know why SFO doesn't have a PFC? Are their other major airports that do not charge it?
If I'm not mistaken, the segment fee also increases from $2.75 to $3.00 later this year.
It almost makes one yearn for the good old days when there was a straight 10% federal tax and no segment/PFC charges.
