Boston/ Logan Modernization
The project is quite amazing! Among other expansion projects, Massport is connecting the two sides of Terminal B with additional gates. I am wonderfing what will happen if the UA/US merger goes through. (Who will occupy the beautiful space US has created and is continuing to expand upon?) I don't think UA's larger planes serving BOS can be accomodated in US's space.

Wow -- can you describe further? How will they be connecting the two sides of Terminal B, as the landside traffic loop bisects the structure right down the middle?
The USAirways side of Terminal B is flush up against the old Eastern terminal (now used by CO, etc.) so I agree it'd be very difficult for UA widebodies to get in there.

Bear: The two sides of B are parallel to one another. The end of each forms a mini-concourse. They will be connected by extentions that angle towards each other and come to a point, so as not to interfere with the traffic loop.
