Priceline equivalent outside the US?
For personal travel, I often use Priceline.com for an especially good deal. But my upcoming travels take me to Sydney, Australia, and Priceline covers only US & Canadian hotels.
Anyone have a suggestion for how to get a good deal on a centrally-located "good enough" hotel at a fair price?
(Didn't see any obviously-preferable forum in which to place this question. Point me elsewhere if there's a better venue, though.)

I have not used them, but saw several good reports on rec.travel.asia about them. Also,
you could go to www.dejanews.com and do an archive search to check the comments of those who have used them.
