Atlantic City Decision
Ok, my friends want to go to Atlantic City in a couple weeks for a change of pace...
So far, the only places we've found to be reasonably priced (about $85 to $100) and not sold out are the Holiday Inn (on the boardwalk) and the Quality Inn (on the same block as the boardwalk).
First, anyone have any experiences with either? Anyone know if one is better than the other? Anyone know of any "secret" way to get a ok room for an ok price at a casino hotel (like I said, most were sold out for the weekend we are going). I've read that you won't find Vegas priced casino hotel rooms in Atlantic City.
Also, will this trip be fun? I like to gamble once an a while, but I don't recall hearing that Atlantic City is a really fun place to visit??
Thanks!!

Unless its a MAJOR convention or possibly Valentine's Day weekend, i can't imagine all the casinos being sold out...but try one of the two Starwood properties there (search Starwood forum, one is good, other is dumpy)

depends.. if you gamble.. no problem.. call the hotel/casino of your choice.. ask for the casino rate or the house rate.. often you'll find a rate of under $100.. you might need to speak witha host who will explain procedures for having cheap rooms as well..
