I was a member for a year and liked the Snooze deals but found them a bit choatic to understand. I fly AA as much as possible and would have liked them to seperate the Snooze deals by airline.

Snooze you loose has a fare from DFW to BOS or NYC for $120 roundtrip, with two week advance purchase on UA.

So yes,Bestfares.com does have many pluses. Thankfully Snooze you loose page is free.

william-

Many if not most of these "Snooze You Lose" seemingly exist only in the fertile hypeing minds of the people at the bestfares site. For example the fare you list does not come up on Travelocity, Expedia or even the UAL site. Bestfares sez they come and go too very quickly. Maybe so, but then maybe not. Maybe it is a way to get internet visiters to their hype-filled site.

I sometimes check the nice ones stating big sale bargains. Only 2%-3% actually appeared valid. Once I had one of our TA's check the fare code listed by bestfares for approx 10 deals. The result was none of these appeared valid on Sabre, Opollo etc. Again, some nice bargains may actually exist but dont bet the rent money on them. And for goodness sakes dont call bestfares. You will never get through because they state "....our latest fare sale is causing tremendous demand....".

They usually give you a 17% discount on TWA
TWA leads the industry in load factors but I bet Best Fares and Priceline is filling them count on a full flight

I echo all the negative comments in this thread. You could obtain an email guarantee of money back for a trial period of 30 days and try it. If you aren't happy you can cancel and get your membership fee credited.

Global Travel out of LAS will give you 20% to 25% off any TWA ticket (except St Louis). Most Travel agents have access to this discount through Global. TWA (through a bulk fare outlet) has 3 day advance purchase seats from select city pairs that are much cheaper than the 21 day advance fares.

When TWA brought back its ownership from Ican(sp), [who had run the company into the ground] they had to give him $5000,000 of discounted TWA tickets (priced at 40% off) spread out over a 10 year period. He turned this over to Global who markets the discounts at 20% off and they pocket the differnce.

Besfares.com sucks. It is disorganised, repeats info unnecessarily and cannot be searched. The telephone sales are atrocious. Why not have online booking
