Luxurylink.com

Anybody ever bid on this site and get a vacation out of it?
Some very tempting trips on there for very low cost for what you get, and was wondering if deals are too good to be true...e.g. have a very hard time getting dates to use, etc.? http://www.luxurylink.com
What does everybody think?

I've been to this site before - just walking thru the property descriptions makes me smile and sigh... Look at the property in VA - the Keswick Hall - boy - could I stand a few days there! And 5,000 AA miles to boot

Friends of mine often take trips they have purchased on this site, and they rave about it. Apparently they have always gotten their first choice of dates, and they say they are treated just like the passengers who paid full freight. They're leaving on the fourth cruise purchased through Luxurylink.com on Sunday, so I guess they must be happy with it.

I've taken three trips from their auctions and each has been as good or better than advertised. The best was a week's cruise from Lima down the Amazon and Ucuyali on a boat with 12 or 14 passengers, bought at a much lower price than what was advertised (and what some of the others on board had paid). The best advantage to all of these kinds of trips is that although they usually are sold to the general public as air-inclusive packages, Luxury Link presents them without the air so that the likes of us can arrange our own transportation and upgrades, etc. In that way, you can avoid the air that is arranged by these tours which is generally in bulk, and strictly not upgradeable.
