Even higher than Evangelist!
With doc about to break through the 10k posts barrier, does FT need an even higher status tier? If so, what should it be called?
Perhaps it should be Unique. At least until he's joined by someone else!

Little, if anything, means less, IMHO, than the number of ones posts - as I've mentioned many times before!
FWIW, once again, I personally feel that FT could/should delete this function insofar as its' visibility to others viewing FT is concerned. Barring that, it could perhaps more easily be simply subdued, so that one would have to look it up rather than having it so prominently displyed!
Yes, I am unique - and so we all are! We are all MEMBERS and thus entitled to ALL the benefits therein - but this does NOT include free upgrades on ALL flight with ALL carriers - so far!
Just my 0.02 - Again!

Said it before and will say it again:
1. No status levels (evangelists, ultimate/purrfect/wonderful/loving FLyer person, etc.)
2. no post #'s. WHo cares if Doc breaks 10000 or I reach certain levels. (no offense DOC
Just list us as, for example:
CATMAN
Jersey City
(and any fun travel or other information in the short bio like: Loves Cats and People)

Sorry for the religious reference when refering to the term "Evangelist" but...God, no!
I hate that term. Although I may be one of the few here that qualify on a technicallity. You see, the term originally applied to the authors of the 4 New Testament gospel books: Matthew, Mark, Luke or John.

doc,
Sure we are unique, and thank God for that!
But I think we are entitled to think that (with one or two notable and unidentified exceptions), we can value the views and posts of our veteran posters - and I certainly include you in that category. That is not to say that new members don't have as much to offer, but is the inevitable value of sustained interest and experience. Keep on posting!

I think reaching 10,000 posts is a very unique experience, thereby allowing everyone who reaches that status to select his or her own unique name. For doc, I would suggest Original Survivor.

Me neither, doc. I was just remembering real (albeit cyber) life.
p.s. For those of you who speak Oxford English, me neither is American kid slang for neither have I.

Doc's 10,000th posting is coming very, very soon - congratulations.
His 10,000 posting come together with the very rare constellation: Fullmoon, Saturn and Jupiter form a "string of fortune". Like the same one 2,000 years ago when the 3 kings went to Bethlehem when Jesus was born.
Let's say he needed 2 minutes for a posting (some more for United, due to long responce times), than he "worked" about 2 weeks (DAY & NIGHT!!!) for the board.
BTW, Doc has about 2.45% of all postings.
