Live Chat
Does anyone here ever use Flyertalk Live Chat? I've logged on there at least a dozen times in the past three weeks, at all different hours. I've haven't seen another soul on there.
Did you guys (and gals) all sneak away to a new live chat room?

we must all be missing each other! I've been swamped w/ evening commitments lately, so I haven't checked in as often as usual, but I still run into folks - was in about 2 hours last night w/ FlyBoy and Gaucho.. had a brief but good chat w/ Jailer and others Thursday... some of the regulars are traveling right now, so I think it's just situational.. I find best time to be around 8pm - 9pm EST...

Regarding Boomers reference!:

BTW, anyone received anything for participation so far? I have not!
Hanging around 'til others show and having prearranged times have both been suggested previously!

Janejet: Usually it's just when "others drop by".. there are some regularly scheduled events - which you can now access in the login screen for the chatroom - very nice GUI upgrade Randy- but those are agenda-oriented.

I've tried several times, but only once was I able to meet up with anyone.
Because I work late, I can't be there until midnight or later, Eastern time. Thought that if I tried after 1 or 2 A.M. I might chat with some FTer's from the west coast, or overseas, but not yet.
Will check the chat again at different times, but I don't see any point in waiting, as I'd rather spend the time reading the posts at FT.
Possibly Randy & Crew could devise some way to indicate on the FT home page that the chat box was "open" (in use) and this might lead other FTer's to visit and see who was there.

I got an email yesterday that said it was happening in 2 hours. Great for anyone not sleeping around then!
