Mid-year (actually 7 months) report
I was updating my spreadsheet with some new information and felt pretty good about my Elite status for next year and pretty bad about how much I am away from the family. So here goes for where I am as of today.
AA 86,292 miles zero on other airlines
Starwood 32 stays
Holiday Inn 54 nights

I am on my merry way to keep my Delta PM next year: 82,987 miles on 56 segments so far. The other airlines? Well, AA about 3 segments and US 1 (Delta re-routed me once).
I don't keep track of the hotels. The one I use the most is Clarion, but the hit-rate for them to register my nights is about 1 in 25, so who cares anyway?
I guess I need to start keep track of Hertz now that I became a 5-Star member.

USAirways: 69 segments, 58,000 status miles
Chairman's Preferred expected till 2/02
Marriott: 50 nights
Platinum given till 2/02
Hertz: 20 rentals
President's Circle given till 1/02
Next year will be the era of good feelings, until of course I drop like a rock from elite levels if the US/UA merger goes through.

CX/AA - 20K
CO - 26K
TW - 5K
KA - 1K
Various crappy Chinese airlines: 6K
UA - 25K (on my way to 50K by the end of August, assuming the flights aren't cancelled
)
wish I could have flown all of these on one airline though
some systemwide upgrades or VIP2s would be nice right about now, as all of these base miles were in steerage ;(

Star Alliance - 108,592 flight miles
Oneworld - 660 points
US Air - A few thousand miles
Alaska - A few thousand more
about ten thousand more on a variety of others
Far too many Starwood, Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott stays. Not enough Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton stays.
