Accommodation in TYO
Hi FT talkers,
I am planning a family trip to Tokyo later in August. I am in the midst of looking through brochures and packages, and want to find out if anyone has any suggestion about reasonable accommodation in Tokyo!
Any suggestion will be welcomed!

My favorite, by far, is the Westin Yebisu Place hotel. It is in Yebisu Place, the old Sapporo Brewery. The complex houses a beer museum, beer hall, shopping, and dining. It is conected to the Ebisu station on the JR Yamanote line via covered walkway with people movers. Hands down, this is my choice.
A good choice for something a bit cheaper is the Crowne Plaza Metropolitan. Next choice (and cheaper still) is the Shinigawa Prince.

If by reasonable you mean clean and cheap, Kimi Ryokan in Ikebukuro for tatami beds, shared bath for JPY 7,500/6,500. See http://www2.dango.ne.jp/kimi/ryokan.html
