Size of airlines
With various mergers announced (UA/US) and being considered (AA/NW), and concerns about airlines getting too large and the marketplace becoming anti-competitive, anybody know of a concise summary of the largest airlines' statistics? I.e., top 10 domestic vs. top 10 non-US in revenue, flights per day, passenger-miles per day, etc.

Your best source is the US Govt's 'Office of Airline Information'. It states: "The OAI mission is to provide the U.S. government, DOT, and other users with uniform and comprehensive financial and market/traffic statistical economic data on individual air carrier (airline) operations and the air transportation industry."

Their latest passenger and freight data appears to be for the year 1995, which is rather out of date, to say the least.
Anyway, I found the info I was looking for hyperlinked to from an online newspaper article.
