Golf Camps

Does anyone know anything about these? Am looking for something at a high-end property/courses. A one week stay. Preferably east coast or England/Ireland/Scotland.

Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

bagold: Sea Pines at Hilton Head (in South Carolina - may be a boycott issue) has a great golf academy that I went to back in '98. You can go for the 3 or 4 day schools. You'll get instruction, lunch and breakfast, plus rounds of golf at Sea Marsh, their Ocean course (not the be confused with Kiawah's Ocean) and your final round on Harbor Town. It helps if you're part of a school with a small group of fellow students. When you sign up, they'll be happy to help arrange accomodations at Sea Pines, but it is not included in the price.

It improved my game considerably, but I wish I had more time to practice, and then a lot more things would have stuck with me.

What kind of resort is Sea Pines? I went to Hilton Head about ten years ago and thought it was okay, but wouldn't necessary go there again over something new--unless this Sea Pines place is really something special. I don't recall whether there were good dining options on HH either, but that of course has probably changed in the last ten years.

Any further info appreciated.
