Empower

I fly domestic F/C on NW/CO all the time - 40+ segments so far this year. However, I have not yet seen an Empower port in F/C.

1) Does CO/NW have Empower in F/C on ANY of their flights?
2) What airlines do have Empower on domestic F/C?

Thanks.

The only EmPower ports I have found on domestic CO/NW flights are on CO 777's en route to international destinations.

Besides the EmPower ports in BusinessFirst on these aircraft, rows 17-23 ("Elite Seating") in coach also have the power ports. Note that row 16 - the bulkhead row in coach - does not have the ports.

As for other airlines' having the ports for domestic flights, I *heard* that United doesn't have the ports for domestic, and a US Airways A320 pilot told me that US has the ports in all seats on some of their A320 aircraft.

Hope this is of some help.

DL has them (all classes) on the 737-800 (one per row on coach); also on some 767's in Business (domestic); on all international business class seats.

There may be more, I didn't see any on my last 757 flight.

I took UA1694 from SFO to YVR on Sat. The Airbus service had an Empower outlet in the first class cabin.

I really wonder why NW users can put up with without Empower even on international routes. I've never seen one in the business class cabin on NW's 747.

Chiangi:

I think the lack of power ports on NW equipment may have something to do with NW's apparent nostalgia for things of antiquity, such as their 747-200's...

FQTV:

Don't forget NW's DC9s and DC10s, which they are still purchasing... only slightly used
