7 hours in Miami!
My cruise docks at about 9am, but due to customs, passengers will not be "released" until about noon. My flight departs Miami (the cruise docks in Ft. Lauderdale) at 7:48pm. What should I do? Will the Fountainbleu and Loews Hotel of Miami let me see the rooms (so I can decide which to stay in)? What else is there to do? Thank-you! =)

UALover: If you like Jewish deli food, drive down to the Rascal House. It's on the north side of Miami Beach. A very old favorite of mine.
Or, drive around South Beach, which is the very bottom part of Miami Beach. Take a walk down Lincoln Road Mall...very pleasant. If it's open (call first), have lunch at Joe's Stone Crabs, a real Miami landmark.
The Falls, south of South Miami on US 1, is a very pleasant mall at which to spend a few hours.
Or drive to Coconut Grove, park the car, and walk around there. Very nice shopping area with lots of restaurants.
