Turbulence injures 11 & sends 4 BA pax to hospital

Yes, turbulence strikes again near Boston, this time on BA #179 out of LHR. One suspected broken leg!

Keep your seatbelt fastened.

March 3 International Herald Tribune says:

"The sudden, steep climb of a British Airways jet on its descent to Kennedy Airport over the weekend was due to a mechanical malfunction and not turbulence, federal authorities said. Eleven passengers were injured. (AP)"

In any case, seatbelts are a good idea.
