Information on CDG and VCE

Will take AF to Paris and Venice next week. I'd like to get some information on the airport transfer and where to find ATM to withdraw local currency in the airport.

Thanks,

ATM's are easily available in both airports after you exit the baggage halls.

as far as transfers are concerned - what exactly did you want to know??

at CDG there is a train and bus service into Paris. of course taxis are also available.

at VCE i believe there is a bus service to the Padova area and a gondola / boat service intothe center of venice. the gondola / boat thing leaves from outside of the airport towards the back. i cant remember exactly the details but i think it still exists.

have fun

There are numerous ways to get out the airport at CDG, but I like the Air France bus (stops at Porte Maillot and Etoile). You can follow the signs to the bus. Just inside the terminal from where you catch the bus is an ATM.

In Venice, the water taxis are fun, fast and expensive. They're sleek polished wood motorboats and they get you to town in about 20 minutes. When I was there last year it was about $100 US each way though. The ferries are far cheaper and take close to an hour to get to town.
