Milan Hotel

I'll be staying overnight next year in Milan after travelling by rail from Rome and before departing by air 1150 hrs next day for IAD.
I'll probably catch the Airport bus .
This will be my first time in Milan and would appreciate advice re nice( not necessarily cheap) hotels centrally located.( ? near rail and bus stations)
Thanks, Jerry

Four Seasons Hotel Milano
Grand Hotel
Hotel Principal de Savoia

These fit the bill- nice but not necessarily cheap!

the'Principe di Savoye' is the ultimate in typical italian luxury (and just opposite the Central train station) - no lack of good restaurants in Milano, one of the best is in the hotel. The Principe is a member Luxury collection (Sheraton) - and my ever favorite; they were former part of (Aga Khan's) CIGA-hotels.

I've stayed at the Four Seasons in Milano. Very, very nice and right in the middle of the fashion district if you are into that sort of thing. Two blocks from La Scala.
