Lost UA upgrade certs
A friend of mine lost loads of UA upgrade certs recently. Actually they were stolen, along with his briefcase. Does anyone know if there is any hope to get them reimbursed?

Technically no. Because they are bearer instuments and the terms specifically exclude replacement for lost or stolen certs. But if you call the MP Service Center and give them the sob story you never know what might happen.
