Untangle these websites, please
That's the subject of a good article in the Aug 23-30 issue of Business Week (p. 18). It basically says something we've probably all thought--why don't the websites just let us get on with our business instead of waiting for those graphics pages to load? To quote the article, "For example, before you can request any information on schedules from United Airlines (www.ual.com), you have to go through four slow-loading and very uninformative pages. (That's assuming you're already a registered user. If not, it's worse.)"
To sum up, it's quicker to phone and make a reservation (even though it costs the company more money for make a reservation in this way.)
So, companies out there, are you listening? Give us quicker loading webpages where we can go to the exact page we want without clicking through useless, time-consuming pages.
