Ahhhh... SOTB!

We used to drive to Florida for a couple weeks every winter back in the 60's and 70's along with Ozzie, Harriet, Ricky, Lucy and the Beaver. (Mom always owned a two-tone Pontiac station wagon).

We ALWAYS stopped and I still do. I will buy a couple kitschy presents for people and maybe even an over-priced burrito for myself. Makes me feel like I am in an old road movie.

**Sigh**

While I normally fly to Florida when visiting my parents, this xmass I drove to pick something up. I mentioned to a friend that I was driving down to Florida for xmass. Big mistake. She got rather excited and begged that I stop and pick up an SOTB snow globe.

I hate that place with all it's tacky signs for hundreds of frickin miles. Well I came I saw and I bought. I think I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Just got the silly snow globe and no gas. Best on such a north/south I-95 drive to get gas in NC and especially GA as it's cheaper.

Let's hope it's my last visit there.
