This annoys me....

Hotel websites with fake and untrue photos...

Take a look at this one and tell me if you have ever seen a bed that big:

I know they need to sell rooms but just how dumb to they think we are?

It *may* be an optical illusion from the type of camera lens used to take the photo.

That has to be two beds made to look like one.

It's an astounding optical illusion!

But I'd love that bed.

P.S. A bed that big is seemingly inconceivable, no?

I believe it's two beds. If you look carefully, you can see what appears to be a "crease" at the foot of the beds about half way across that would designate a space bewteen them and there is also a black mark in the headboard that I interpret as a space as well.

It's been said that people and things seem to look bigger in photos or on television. Have you ever gotten a hamburger as big as the one in the fast food ads? Not me.

I was also "tricked" when I looked at this hotel photo.

http://www.omnihotels.com/hotels/ima...os/main_48.jpg

I stayed there and trust me, the mountains are NOT as close as they look in the photo!!!

Classic photographer's shot. Ever wonder why the moon looks so big in photos? It's that Nikon 400mm lens taken from a long distance WITH something closer (a hotel perhaps) in the foreground for effect. This hotel photo was taken from a long way away.... It is acurate as far as photography is concerned but a bit misleading in real life.

Fortunately, I do not get annoyed very easily, or I surely would be over the choice of title here! In any case, thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!

AHA- GOTCHA!.. I went to the official site of the hotel and guess what I found?

http://www.berghotel.nl/berg07.jpg

Spot the difference

While the room still looks pretty roomy it's shrunk over 50%.....
