Lufthansa Wait list policy

Lufthansa Wait list policy
I am scheduled to travel sfo-frankfurt-del on the 13th of June. My frankfurt-del leg is confirmed, however, I am waitlisted for the sfo-frankfurt leg. When I ask lufthansa about my position in the waitlist, they refuse to tell me. This gives me no idea regarding the my chances to get a seat on the plane. Is there a way to find out my position on the wait list?

first comes status with LH (SEN, FTL), then fare class for clearing the waitlist
if you are going in economy or business class then your flight is overbooked already. depending on time and route of the flight they do some reasonable overbooking first (still issuing confirmed tickets) and then open the waitlist.
