My reommendation would be to click "Search" in this topic, type in "Amsterdam," take a look at the numerous previous posts, then let us know if you have any specific questions.

Plug in your arrival date and the number of nights and you will get a large number of choices for all price ranges... budget to high end. It's a pre-paid voucher so you just arrive and check-in. I've used it several times (amsterdam, london, paris and rome) and been very happy each time.

In that price range, if the Crowne Plaza city centre is having a promotional rate, grab it. At times they have had a "paying with Visa" rate that isn't always easily obtainable nor offered, but exists from time to time.

We used this site last year and got the Jolly Carlton for a good price. It is a pre-paid voucher program. The prices quoted include all taxes and fees. They have a good choice and the prices were very competitive and have some hotel choices that Expedia, Travelocity ect. didn't have.

I was a bit hesttant using them as they are a travel agency in Australia but had no problems.
