Interested in sharing how you plan your trips?
Hello Flyertalk community!
My name is Antoni and I am an EMBA student at IMD Business School conducting academic research on how experienced travelers plan their leisure trips.
For this study, I’m particularly interested in hearing from women aged 40+ who typically plan at least 3 leisure trips per year, since they often play a central role in travel planning. The conversation will be a confidential 45-minute, one-on-one interview focused purely on your personal travel planning journey.
There’s no sales and no concept testing involved - just your experiences, what works, and what can be frustrating. As a thank-you, I’ll provide a small gift card.
I hope this request fits within the spirit of the community rules - if not, please let me know and I’ll be happy to adjust or remove it.
If you’d be interested, please DM me. Thanks so much!

That would be great.
I hope is not against the rules to send you a meeting link via DM.
If you choose a time and date from there, i would be very happy to talk to you.
Looking forward
Antoni

Might as well be doing surveys on sites that actually pay me a few dollars for each completed one for extra chump change to fill my time when stuck in traffic.

Thank you all for the thoughtful responses and questions. Just to clarify - this project is purely for educational purposes as part of my EMBA assignment, and I’ll be happy to share the insights once I’m done.
Regarding how I landed on the “women 40+ who plan 3+ trips a year” focus – the assignment requires us to choose a clear, narrow segment, and my choice was informed by online research showing that women often play the lead role in trip planning. For example, a recent study reported that 82% of travel decisions are made by women (see hertelier dot com: New Study: 82% of Travel Decisions Made By Women).
Wish you all a great day.

Since the original poster (OP) does not have enough FlyerTalk posts to include a link in a comment, I will do so.

I am frankly overqualified for this request.
That said, I will absolutely admit that I am not the typical female over 40 that this survey is probably looking for as I have a pretty independent streak for decades, even if traveling with others, so what is going to bother the typical female your consultation is aiming at, is very likely to not remotely be an issue for me. And along that line, I really got a chuckle out of the post ahead of me (no offense to the poster)
