But why? I agree with the other posters who say this is getting out of control and turning every profession into a "tipped" job. Do you also hand out these gift cards to the employees at the local grocery store or restaurants in town that are open on Christmas or New Year's? Or the bus drivers and subway train drivers? They arguably need it more than the higher-paid flight crew.
