I guess we all need to stop joking around about battlefield upgrades. It can get worse.

All the best, James
Yes, I am very aware of that. Always got too much trouble at MIA airport. They doesn't listen, they break the law and put them on no-fly list permanently. They refused to listen to the gate agent. They are not cooperating with police, TSA, airlines, and else.

Airlines need to start adding an "entertainment surcharge" for MIA departing flights.

People pay good money to see fights.

This is why we cannot have nice things! No wonder AA and UA have banned alcohol on flights. But I can tell you from personal experience it's a SH*T show at the airports. Everyone is on high alert. high stress. Omicron, etc. safe travels flyer friends. mask up and get your boosters.

Naw - UA provides liquor and other adult beverages on board. You may be thinking of some other airline like DL.

I'm not sure why deadly force would be needed when you pretty much KNOW the passengers are unarmed (or have reasonable belief they are).

OTOH if we think that Amtrak is underutilized, convincing people to take trains instead of planes might be a good thing.
Busses are relatively safe. I just purchased a r/t ticket for someone from New York to Texas for $118 including taxes. Just out of curiosity, I looked at the Greyhound website and the same dates for the same cities was priced at over $400. That's completely insane. IMHO, air travel should never be less expensive than a bus or a train ticket.

This isn't Delta. It's a charter airline --Air Century, a Dominican Charter airline.

Part of me wonders - how is this real life?

And another part of me feels like - Miami? 2021? Anything goes.
