Status rule change...
Many airlines are awarding miles based on the dollar value of the ticket rather than miles flown. The term, "Frequent Flyer" needs to be reconsidered. One can make one long trip in First class, pay a fortune and earn more miles than several chemo flights. "Million Miler" is also would become redundant-Million spender-May be?
I would like to suggest these tiers:
1. Apex spender
2. Big spender
3. Spender.
Could be sub classified into Frequent Apex Spender, frequent big spender etc. You can easily equate the spender dollars with credit card purchases, hotel stays, etc.
I am curious-If the front of the cabin is the least safe zone in an accident, why is business/first class in that section? Shouldn't these be in the back of the cabin? That way loading the plane also will be easy. Like in Airlines of India, they could get out of the back! Why most airlines use only the front doors?

When jets appeared, the quietest portion of the tube was in the front, and thus that is where the elite are seated. no matter what you call them

Lots of words/sayings could be replaced with more descriptive terms. But they won't be.
What does "status rule change" mean?
