Recourse when your corporate TA &*(!$ you? BCD is USELESS
I hate having to use BCD - sometimes I just book on my own and ask forgiveness later if necessary. I wish I had done it on this occasion.
1. Booked a P fare on AC to Europe through Concur/BCD
2. Was asked to stay in EU an extra day
3. Asked BCD to advise costs to change to same flights 1 day later
4. BCD books me different flights without confirming with me
5. I corrected them. "No, SAME flights, next day."
6. BCD emails back and says "Done. $383."
7. WTME goes on holiday
8. WTME returns from holiday, looks in AC APP and sees he is booked into V class for new flights.
9. WTME looses his freaking mind, has a cigarette than writes a calm email to BCD asking for it to get fixed but also asking why it would have cost $383 to go from business to economy (and not full fare, just V class)
10. WTME looks on EF and realizes there are no P fares left and the whole change is going to be costly
11. WTME posts on FT asking what recourse he has to recover money and get this whole mess cleaned up not yet knowing what BCD will propose but wanting to be armed with answers/options
