Did I overreact to this minor checked baggage tagging issue?

It is easier to tag both bags under one passenger's name during the check-in process even when there are two pax on the PNR if they qualify for two or more bags.

Why is that easier? Just because it's 15 seconds less work for the check in agent?

Just sharing information as a reason why checkin agent do certain things.
15 seconds time number of pax adds up.

I agree with everyone else... it doesn't seem like you overreacted to me. It was a reasonable request and it doesn't seem like you made a scene or anything, you just wanted to make sure the change happened and then went on your way.
