Le Labo’s Santal 33 at Hotel Americano in NYC is hands down my favorite of all time. Unfortunately for my bank account, I ran out the next day and bought a full sized bottle of the perfume.

Oh. Yes.
I love Malin and GoetZ as well. London House in Chicago has it as well as showers in Delta Sky Clubs—great stuff

I stayed in a boutique hotel in Paris in 2011 that had Korres products. They were so good for my eczema that they became my staple product for years after.

I once scored Hermes Eau d'orange Verte products at an independent hotel in Lille, France. This was useful since I use the perfumes already!

Other interesting products were Aromatherapy Associates at the Conrad

We’ve always had self replenishing supply of 20~30 hotel soaps at home.
But I haven’t stayed at a hotel in 7 weeks.
At this rate, a month from now I’ll have to actually BUY soaps for the first time in as long as I can remember.

That's so sad, on so many levels! Say I having just bought my first large bar of soap. Actually it's quite nice to have your choice of good soap, rather than the very variable efforts provided by hotels. I'm revisiting my childhood with some Pears soap currently.

All I know is I don't want to go back to the crap soap I was buying and using for years before I started traveling.
I don't know soap brands too well... just get to know which ones I like from staying at hotels.
I looked at online prices for some of my favorite hotel ones: Le Labo, Shanghai Tang, Thann, Thatworks, L'Occitane.
I couldn't believe how pricey those were. Actually couldn't even find Shanghai Tang soaps available online anywhere, except at Ebay type sites.

“Oh..I haven't seen Aesop at a hotel yet. I have bottles to use while in a Bed and Breakfast that I liked. Where have you seen Aesop products out?”

Nimb Hotel in Copenhagen had Aesop products when we were there a few years ago.

Miss the Acqua di Parma in Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong ( MOHK ) suites , but Bottega Venata which has been used the past year or so is fine too . Best if we were given a choice but with CoVid 19 , one has to be thankful to have decent toiletries provided . Think Hermes and Salvatore Ferragamo are still options but have not been able to return to stay & confirm as yet .

As with some posters , looking through our hotel supplies inventory , still in good shape for a couple of months and possibly beyond

I love Aesop hand soap...we have a bottle in the downstairs bathroom. Haven't seen it in a hotel (maybe I should stop staying at Residence Inns lol).

As far as what I've happened across that I loved, the Bastide de Gordes in France had Hermes products that I loved.

I really like Aromatherapy Associates. I first discovered them at my first Conrad Stay, the Conrad Hong Kong in 2015. The soap has a very particular smell that I associate with that trip. I'm happy to see they're still at some Conrads and also at JW Marriotts. I was able to pick up two bars this weekend at a JW stay in fact.

Not particular with brands but we love taking home little shampoos, lotions, toothbrushes, soaps... we end up using them especially when we have not replenished our stock yet. Not a fan of hotel toothpaste though.

Has anyone come across a high-end hotel shampoo that not only smelled/performed well but also gentle and made out of mostly natural ingredients?

Somebody told me Aveda is mostly natural, but I got to try it one time at some independent hotel and I didn’t think it was anything special.

Aesop wins. When I'm at the Park Hyatt in Tokyo or Seoul, I will take those home.

For more mainstream, I am a big fan of the Remede amenities at the St. Regis I've been to around the world.
