My line of work has minimal travel involved. 40~65k miles/year of personal travel is typical for me, which may not seem much. But I think I still travel more than just about anyone I know at my work.
FTers are exceptional

Yepp. As can be seen in my maps above, this year I will have crossed the pond 22 times. My friends all think I am crazy when I fly TATL from LAX for short weekends.

Down year for me personally. Last year I did over 200,000 BIS. This year was a bit slower.

156,612 Miles flown. 88 Flights

17 Different Airlines: American Airlines, Copa Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Alaska Airlines, Air Belin (RIP), United Airlines, Qantas Airways, Delta Airlines, Jet Blue, Royal Air Maroc, TAG, Iberia, Porter Airlines, Turkmenistan Airlines, Virgin America, Turkish Airlines, Air New Zealand.

Longest flight JFK-HKG on Cathay Pacific 8,068 miles

Shortest flight GUA-FRS on TAG Airlines 168 miles.

Favorite flight this year: Flying a domestic flight in Turkmenistan.

Visited or transited 22 different countries this year.

This year also marked the first time I went to all 6 continents in one calendar year.

Will maintain for 2018 both Oneworld Emerald Status and Star Alliance Gold status.

Here is what that all looks like on a map.

Hoping to cover as much if not more ground next year. A mix of personal and work travel.
