Vayama Question
They are having prices almost half of directly booking. I will not need to modify or cancel (and if there is an emergency I do purchase separate trip insurance). Reviews seem skewed negative, but also I have found some on this forum (and others) that said things went smoothly. If I book direct I will have to change my trip to 8 days instead of 14, which I'd rather not do. I am looking to book with Vayama with Swiss Airlines and I called Swiss, and they didn't seem concerned about booking 3rd party.
Is this a huge mistake, or go with it and hope for the best (no flight cancellations/delays to cause issues)?

I've used them three or four times and it has worked pretty well except for the one time I needed something the web site couldn't provide. Even that all worked out but they weren't very responsive.
They will charge you their own fee if you cancel, on top of the airline's, unless you pay them $20 at time of purchase. I tried that precisely once because it was supposed to give it back as a credit on my next order -- but didn't.
Overall, they really do seem to have the tickets they claim to. Dutch owned, I believe, but they do have at least one US office in the SF bay area.
