IATA Global Passenger Survey 2017

Our annual survey of air travellers is taking place currently and I would like to ask for assistance from this community of frequent flyers to comment and provide your feedback on what is important when you travel. This will help us drive the right programs to improve the travel experience.

As a frequent flyer myself, I often feel that there are lots of areas pertaining to baggage, security and passenger processes that can definitely be re-engineered in the current day and age where technology is so prevalent.

You can access the survey at the following URL:

Very Interesting

Just finished; quite interesting from a Canadian viewpoint, especial when we think of the automatic gates and biometric scanners staring to become common in Europe.

That survey really isn't designed with people who don't check bags in mind.

I generally don't check bags and thought it was fine. There are a handful of checked bag questions, but the majority have nothing to do with it or are not solely focused on it (e.g., passenger services including tracking bags, but also several other non-related items).

It could use a back button. I answered one question incorrectly and couldn't recover it.

Or maybe there's a chance to amend once its finished. It was taking so long I wondered off at something like 55% done.

Nope, once you move on, that's it.

Thanks for the feedback so far. All feedback about the structure of the survey will help IATA improve next year's version.

I bailed. There were too many questions where none of the answers applied and no way to skip ahead or select none of the above.
