I think the numbered list just helped (in a good sense). I really doubt if it is possible to adjust time settings on your phone just to prolong WiFi use. I haven't tried that before. I agree with the previous comments; free WiFi connection should be free, but with set data limit because there are these inconsiderate people who consume data heavily, slowing down the data transfer for others.
Nevertheless, I'd better go and do number 11. Who knows? I and the crew might become friends.
