Circle flights?

Hey guys
I'm not sure what these kind of flights are called does anyone know?
It's flights like Emirates going from Cebu to Clark and these other "cabotage" flights. I was wondering if there was a name for these kind of flights which are "shorter" and if there's a list of them
Thanks

I don't understand your question. Do you mean fifth freedom flights?

"fifth freedom" doesn't necessarily mean the flight is short, though. it just means a carrier from country A flies a flight between countries B and C.

No, but ninth (and usually eighth) freedom flights usually are.

I thought a circle trip was a mostly out-of-date term for a multi-city itin that had no open jaws. A-B-C-A.

The only time I've seen it recently with any specific meaning is a few years back on one of the alliance-wide awards. A regional circle award or something like that...

That is what it means and it is not out-of-date.

The route described by the OP - CEB-CRK - is not a 5th freedom flight as it is wholly within the Philippines. It is an 8th freedom flight.
