Left wing or right wing doesn't matter to me when it comes to flight videos. It matters in politics, though. I won't elaborate on that here, lest this thread be exiled to OMNI/PR.

I usually sit on the left side of the aisle since I am right handed it works better with the laptop.

Interesting analogy. I tend to find myself on the left side of the plane. If seating were assigned by political leanings I would be strapped to the end of the right wing.

When I sit on the left side of the plane, I prefer to watch Youtube videos. When I sit on the right side of the plane, I tend to listen to more Pandora. If I'm in the center section of a widebody, I become so discombobulated that I end up playing minesweeper.
What the hell is this thread about? How can it not already be in OMNI?

I sit on the left when going to California and sit on the right when going to London. It just feels more in keeping that way (plus the views are better on landing)

If watching a cockpit view full length flight vid, I'd rather have the camera portside. As for full flight length cabin view vids, I would'nt watch that at all, except maybe some extra short island fligts on an Islander. But then cockpit and cabin would be pretty much the same thing..

If not cockpit view, my preference would be the IN side.
When I fly I love looking out the window - essentially do it the whole trip. But I just have no interest in watching a video of someone looking out the window - somehow doesn't do a thing for me. I know from trip reports most videos are out the window- I much would rather see what is going on int he cabin. Then again, I think I could only watch a few minutes of it anyways.
