SeaPort airline?
Hey I am looking at shorter flights and Seaport seems to be the cheapest(inside California). Looks like they fly twin engine Cessnas. Anyway, has anyone here ever flown with them? My big question is the 25 and 30 minute layovers. Are these layovers an issue or are there so few passengers you just walk to your next flight, no big deal????

I haven't flown their intra-California flights, but I've flown with them in some other small markets.
SeaPort currently flies single engine Cessna 208 Caravans, these planes only seat 9 passengers.
I'm not sure which route you're looking at, but most of their through flights are just stopovers to pick up or discharge passengers. If you fly Sacramento - Visalia - Burbank, you probably won't even have to get off the plane in Visalia (and if you do, you'll just be stretching your legs alongside the pilot).
If SeaPort is selling the flight as a valid connection, I wouldn't worry about it.

I just put in a booking for SMF-VIS-BRU-SAN. Flightseeing AND getting there!
I even considered the longer route SMF-VIS-BRU-IPL-SAN, which would only have cost 50 Cents more. But it would have been a long ride - too long for my sister, who is coming, too. :-)
Maybe we can push Visalia into the Top 500 US airports! (By passenger enplanements.) LOL

My flight was only half-full, so was not an issue of having to elbow other pax for the seat
I also chose the seat immediately behind the first officer's seat, which allowed me a much better view of the instruments.

When I flew them it was open seating and you just sat wherever you wanted but there was only 4 pax on-board. They will ask for your weight at check-in so they might assign seats based on weight & balance but otherwise you should be able to sit wherever you want. If you get there early, you could try asking for the first row. I'd recommend the middle seat so you can sit right behind the pilots with a great view of everything that goes on.

I've flown OTH-PDX, and it's a pleasant flight. The view of the Cascade Mountains when clear are outstanding. Your carryon has to be in the back of the cabin, or on your lap. I would look at the route map and select the window with the best view. I've heard you can get cell phone reception on a Seaport flight (wouldn't know about that
). It's like Southwest for seating, first come, first served.
One minus; they are not PreCheck capable yet, shoes have to come off.
