I thought it would be interesting to make a list of all airlines that offer a true, long-haul First class. Please add or remove any airlines, as needed. I think it makes sense to not inculde American carriers who call their short-haul premium cabin 'First'. Sorry Alaska, Delta, Hawaiian and Sun Country.

Total: 28

American Airlines - OW

South America

none

Europe

Air France - ST
British Airways - OW
Lufthansa (Germany) - *A
Swiss - *A

Africa

TAAG Angola

Middle East

Etihad (UAE)
Emirates (UAE)
Kuwait Airways

Oman Air
Saudia - ST

Central Asia, Russia & India

TK has had F in the past but does not currently (and not for several years).

This may provide the answer, but as it is from Wikipedia I wouldn't guarantee its accuracy

They market it as "Delta One", but when you book on their web site, it is labeled as "Business". That's what Kayak shows also.

EgyptAir (MS) does not have First Class anymore. The only aircraft with actual F seats is the one Airbus A340-200 and it's just a spare aircraft they use for when demand for a specific route is up for a few days, so it's not sold. I flew the F product in January (just asked a friend in MS to upgrade me from J) and it's the same food, same F/As, same lounge, just a nicer seat!

The post says " true long-haul First Class". What AS offers is just a "domestic" F product, even if they fly it to Hawaii and up and down the border!

Fantastic idea, great thread. Also shows what a sad decline for the industry and us travelers in Europe and NA. Twenty years ago a small list like this would have been airlines that's do not have.... Yet now this tiny list is airlines that do...

Also as one other poster pointed out, I also am fairly certain that EgyptAir has discontinued F.

Compared to US carriers, yes. But it can not compare or compete at all with competitors like SQ and CX, but it's also shown in how cheap the TG F prices are. The only part of TG F that I like is the Bangkok lounge, although I wish they'd bring pack the putting green .
