My outlook on work travel would be worse if I had to travel like some consultants and salespeople do--constantly, and at someone else's command. My job is not 100% travel and I would not ever take a job like that. Also, in my job, almost all of my travel is planned by me, according to my wishes and my schedule. In other words, I am the client. If my travel related to my work *for* clients, and had to be done according to someone else's wishes and schedules, it would be less enjoyable.

Could be interesting - you telecommute from home and then get on a plane.
The money isn't all that great for a seasoned road warrior, but for a young-ish type starting to build experience (and resumably with expenses paid) it could be a great deal.

Haha, I can't cook and my couch sucks . The biggest one is the bed/bathroom I think. I don't even have a nice bathroom or a great bed, but because I'm familiar with them, I want them. I can sleep great anywhere, but sinking into that familiar bed of mine...feels fantastic!
